Mark your calendar Oskaloosa quilt show is hosted by the Mahaska Stitch N' Quilt Guild at Debbie's Celebration Barn just south of Oskaloosa off highway 63. April 17-18, 2026 Friday 10-7 and Saturday 10-4. Featuring quilts, vendors, and more, while the nearby Iowa Quilt Festival in Winterset offers a larger, multi-day quilt experience in early June. Cost: $5 for ages 19+, $2 for ages 11-18. |

| March 20th, 2026 thru March 22nd Reiman Garden Annual Garden Quilt Show sponsored by the Iowa Quilters Guild Annual garden-themed quilt show held on the beautiful grounds of Reiman Gardens on the Iowa State University campus. Show is open 9:00AM to 5:00PM Friday and Saturday, and 9:00AM to 4:30PM on Sunday. The show will include free lectures on Friday throughout the day, free demonstrations, make and takes, a workshop on Saturday afternoon, and our always popular Iowa Quilters Guild Boutique with all kinds of quilting-related goodies for sale. Discover fresh possibilities and refine your skills amidst the historical ambiance of the Winterset Livery. Keynote speaker Mary Kerr, a renowned American Quilt Society certified appraiser, award-winning quilter, and celebrated author will visit us in Winterset for the festival. Her “Twisted” exhibit will feature our gallery where she will give a gallery walk. Don’t miss the opportunity to attend her “Saving Our Treasures” lecture and participate in two engaging workshops focusing on vintage quilts.
